We often hear about the persecution of the Christians in the Middle East, but what is it actually like to live that horror? And what lessons can we learn from the suffering of our fellow Christians?
Archbishop Bashar Matti Warda, CSsR, of the Chaldean Catholic Archeparchy of Erbil, Iraq, talks about the life of Christians in Iraq under Muslim rule up until the present intense persecution they are suffering and then presents some surprising areas of hope and solidarity with Christians in the United States from their current condition. Archbishop Warda’s talk was sponsored by the Academic Affairs Dept. at Franciscan University of Steubenville.
